Plagiarism: Whose Words?

Melania Trump’s speech Monday night at the RNC is getting serious coverage. Why? Suspected plagiarism.

This tweet cleverly condensed the different ways major news sources talked about Melania’s lifted language.

A couple of pieces this morning from Christianity Today and the Chronicle of Higher Education address the issue from a spiritual and academic standpoint. Like the professor interviewed in the Chronicle, I’ll probably be using this in my freshman comp class.

Professor Terri Coleman says Trump’s speech shows what happens when you don’t give your “due diligence” to writing in the Chronicle.
