Provocation: Clarify My Personal Values

At the provocation of a business department colleague, I’m reading Kouzes and Posner’s million-sold-and-counting¬†The Leadership Challenge. I think one of the reasons books like this work for me is that they cause two simultaneous things to happen as I’m reading: first, they prompt to see all these connections between leadership and teaching YET second, I have to work to bridge the gap between leadership in a business setting and teaching in a classroom setting. This book has been particularly helpful in making sure I have thought through my role as a leader in the classroom.
