Challenge: Stepping Up My Handout Game

I’ve been reading posts on the website lately, and one of the things I love about site curator Maria Popova’s posts is that she teams her verbal/conceptual content with really great images. I’m thinking of the astounding image recorded in this post about famous writers and their sleeping habits.

But my real inspiration has been personal development author James Altucher. His daily blog posts frequently include a great handout that encapsulates the day’s content. I was particularly struck by the one below, and I’ve take it as a challenge to step up my handout game.


More than anything else, I want to work at offering an appealing and apt visual presentation for my content. It’s a work in progress. Here are four of my initial attempts:
