Provocation: Class Discussions

Yesterday, I read two articles on facilitating better class discussions. The first came from The Chronicle of Higher Ed where James Lang reviewed of Jay  Howard’s Discussion in the College Classroom. The second was a classic article on pedagogy discussion that Lang linked to in his article, historian Peter Frederick’s “The Dreaded Discussion: Ten Ways to Start.”
